Shoreham-Wading River High School Honored as Recipient of Russell Athletic's Fourth Annual "Fight Like Dylan Award"
Long Island, NY School Awarded $50,000 Grant; Celebrated On-Field at 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl
BOWLING GREEN, Ky., Dec. 29, 2014 -- Russell Brands, LLC has announced Shoreham-Wading River High School as the recipient of the fourth annual "Fight Like Dylan Award," which honors the courageous life of Dylan Rebeor, a high school football player who lost his battle with cancer and whose last wish was for new uniforms for his teammates. In honor of Dylan's character, courage and consideration of others, Russell is awarding a $50,000 team uniform and equipment grant to Shoreham-Wading River High School for demonstrating determination through adversity.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky., Sept. 17, 2014 -- Russell Brands, LLC, announced today it will begin accepting entries for the fourth annual Russell Athletic "Fight Like Dylan Award," named in honor of Dylan Rebeor, a high school football player whose last wish was for his teammates to receive new uniforms. Through this initiative, Russell Athletic will donate apparel and equipment via a $50,000 grant to one high school team that has demonstrated determination through sports, paying tribute to Dylan's remarkable character, courage and consideration of others. Athletics apparel supplier assumes entitlement from Champs Sports
ORLANDO, FL (June 19, 2012) –Russell Athletic, a division of Russell Brands, LLC, and Florida Citrus Sports (FCSports) have entered into a partnership to present the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando, Fla. through 2015. The 2012 Russell Athletic Bowl, most-recently known as the Champs Sports Bowl, will be played on December 28th at 5:30 p.m. (EST) at Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium and air live on ESPN. The game will once again pit top teams from the Atlantic Coast and Big East Conferences.
